Hoops for the Ages Teams and Format
More than 100 basketball players between 40 to 90 years of age are expected to participate in the tournament in teams grouped by age. The men's and women's teams will compete at these age levels: 40-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
3-on-3 game is played with six players (3 per team) on the court in a half-court setup. Just as in traditional basketball, each basket is worth two or three points, with foul shots earning one point. A game consists of two 15-minute halves and will follow National Senior Games Rules.
